Maya also co-founded a writing program through her local library, where she mentored and taught other students to guide them on their publishing journeys. Apart from writing, she enjoys working on data and computer science projects and has varied professional experience in these fields, ranging from start-ups to non-profit organizations. As a current student, Maya is familiar with the college admissions process and passionate about helping students recognize and showcase their strengths.

Denise Robinson

STANFORD
Denise, a recent high school graduate and current undergraduate at Stanford University, has a thorough understanding of and the desire to share the specifics in navigating the college application process in a competitive manner. Having written many applications for college admissions, scholarships, and summer programs, Denise has plenty of experience with the creative process of writing compelling personal narratives. Having also attended and taken notes during dozens of online information sessions hosted by universities, Denise knows what it is that admissions officers are looking for in students' applications. As an individual from an underprivileged background, Denise is more than excited to provide the-- often inaccessible-- mentorship students need to gain the competitive edge in college admissions and beyond!

Juliana Aquino, a dedicated student at the University of California, Berkeley, where she majors in Dance and Performance Studies with minors in Chemistry and Public Health. A 2023 graduate of Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo, CA, Juliana excelled as an International Baccalaureate Diploma student. She has a rich background in education and community service, having worked as a teacher at Kumon and a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County. Prior to her studies at Berkeley, she was considered by prestigious institutions such as New York University and the University of Oklahoma, where she was offered nearly a full ride scholarship. Throughout her educational journey, Juliana earned accolades like the "Miss Young Philippines USA Ambassador Award" and the "Trabuco Hills High School PTSA Creative Expression Award". Since graduating, she has leveraged her experience to assist peers and family members with their college applications, aiming to empower others in their educational pursuits.

Stephen Atkinson is an accomplished scholar who topped his high school class and earned a National Merit Scholarship. He pursued his passions for European history and French literature at Duke University, graduating in 2023.
